Malcolm Beaty

Singer, Actor, Voice Artist

About Malcolm

I’m Malcolm Beaty—a classically trained tenor, actor, and storyteller with over two decades of professional experience in music, theatre, and voiceover.

My journey began in the church in Fort Worth, Texas, where the influence of our church choir and gospel legends like The Clark Sisters and Darryl Coley shaped my soulful, expressive style. After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice Emphasis) from Dallas Baptist University, I built a career that spans opera houses, cabaret stages, theatres, and recording studios.

From featured performances at the Dallas Cabaret Festival to roles in musical theatre and opera, I’m passionate about connecting with audiences—whether I’m singing a jazz standard, leading a sacred solo, or voicing a character in an audiobook.

Ella Fitzgerald said it best: “The only thing better than singing is more singing.”

For me, it’s not just about performance—it’s about storytelling, connection, and leaving people a little better than I found them.

Music & Live Performance

With a versatile voice shaped by training and experience across opera, jazz, gospel, R&B, and musical theatre, I bring emotional depth and technical precision to every live performance.

Whether it’s an intimate cabaret set, a concert hall solo, or a sacred service, I tailor each performance to fit the moment and the audience.

Performance Highlights Include:

  • Featured Artist – Dallas Cabaret Festival (multiple years)
  • Musical Theatre & Opera Roles – from Old Deuteronomy in Cats to Roland Hayes in Breath & Imagination
  • Fort Worth Opera Chorus – 20+ seasons
  • Soloist for sacred services, weddings, memorials, and special events
